FLAT MARKER

The most popular type of marker, it is commonly referred to as a grass marker because it sits a few inches beneath the ground so that its face is flush with the surface. 

SLANT MARKER

This marker sits above the ground and may have a foundation beneath it. A standard slant is 16" tall on the back side and slopes downward toward the front, giving it a very steep profile. 

BEVEL MARKER

Placed above the ground, this style can also sit atop a foundation. The back side of a bevel is typically two inches higher than the front to create a slightly slanted appearance.
